Fab Friday

Fudgy Brownies-from Taste of Home

1-1/3 cups butter, softened
2-2/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
Confectioners' sugar, optional

PREP 15 min.
TOTAL 40 min.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until the top is dry and the center is set. Cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar if desired. Yield: 2-1/2 dozen.

I can't believe it calls for a whole cup of baking cocoa. LOL The most I've ever seen for brownies is 3TBS. So this is definitely going to be fudgy. :) I'll have to give them a try. Hubby loves brownies.
