I've had a terrible time all summer with flys. I can't buy bananas, which means no banana cake or bread. So I'm going to try this.

I've heard of this before. Also, we were on our bus ministry for church and one of the homes we visit had a ziplock bag of water hanging above the door. At first I thought it might be some kind of holy water because I knew the family was Spanish and came from a Catholic background. LOL (I know...crazy of me to think that) ANYWAY! I asked the little girl what it was for and she said that it was to keep the houseflies away. They see their reflection in the water and won't come in the door. I thought that was interesting. Of course, we really don't have a problem with houseflies, so I won't be hanging any bags of water above the door. I just thought it was interesting. Good to know, huh?
